At MWC Barcelona 2024, Trend Micro's 5G cybersecurity subsidiary, CTOne, along with their partner Saviah Technologies, introduced the 5G smart media & entertainment application of Taiwan's Sanlih E-Television. This presentation also served to highlight the forward-thinking and innovative aspects of Taiwan's film and television industry to a global audience.

Last year, Sanlih E-Television successfully adopted a 5G private network for its smart media services. Saviah Technologies provided the 5G core network software and network management system, while CTOne oversaw the security of the 5G network. The applications included high-resolution remote production, AI virtual and reality integration, and 3D dynamic tracking for AR imaging. By establishing a private 5G network, they created a wireless environment for video production and broadcasting. This integration of 4K IP cameras, AI motion compensation systems, and remote co-performing technologies established innovative remote production solutions for the film and television industry.
